SapienzaApps operates the Infostud mobile app (for Android and iOS) and some web services. SapienzaApps doesn’t operate the main Infostud web service, which is operated by InfoSapienza (a department of La Sapienza, University of Rome).
The Infostud mobile app can be operated in two ways:
- In “Normal mode”: both Infostud web service and SapienzaApps web services are used
This page is used to inform mobile users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use the mobile app (from now own indicated also as “our Service”).
Information Collection and Use
By using our Service, you allow us to collect and store data coming from University web services, included but not limited to university user profile, exams receipts and others, for the only purpose of speeding up the information loading (technically defined as “cache”). Those pieces of information are retained for a short period of time. We will not store them for long periods, and we will not use them for other purposes.
Some features will require you to allow us to access to your exams information anonymously for statistical purpose. In that case, an opt-out option will be available.
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, and others. In that case, an explicit consent will be asked.
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, we collect information on web services usage that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your mobile phone’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, software version, web services of our Service that you use, the time and date of requests, and other statistics.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
